Il Centro Studi LR Edizioni (www.lr-edizioni.it) e l’Istituto Italiano per la Storia della Musica
(www.iism.it), sotto il patrocinio dalla Diocesi Anagni-Alatri, il Capitolo della Cattedrale di Anagni
e della Congregazione delle Suore Cistercensi della Carità di Anagni, cureranno l’Edizione 2013
delle Giornate di Studio “Ars Sacra Amor Populi”, Conferenza di Studi Musicologici e Storici. Gli
incontri si svolgeranno ad Anagni (Frosinone, Lazio Italia), nel Palazzo di Bonifacio VIII – sala
Gregorio IX – dalla mattina di Giovedì 21 a Domenica, sempre mattina, del 24 Marzo 2013.
Due giornate saranno dedicate esclusivamente a temi musicologici, mentre nella terza verranno trattati
anche temi storici ed etnomusicologici. La Conferenza si concluderà nella mattinata di domenica 24 con
una Tavola Rotonda che precederà la chiusura ufficiale dei lavori.
Anagni è un’importante città storica dalla struttura medievale, situata a sud di Roma (60 km), ben
collegata con la capitale da treni e autobus, oltre che dalla Autostrada del Sole A1 (uscita Anagni-
Fiuggi).
Call for Papers (Proposals)
Gli organizzatori invitano gli studiosi interessati a presentare Proposte di Relazioni, Round tables e
Poster presentations, e propri Studi riguardo la Musica Sacra, le Cappelle Musicali, i loro Maestri, la
Liturgia Cristiana e specifici aspetti storici, di epoca Medievale e Moderna, collegati alla musica
ecclesiastica. Sessioni speciali saranno dedicate ai temi “Musica Sacra e Liturgia nelle Cappelle
Musicali” e “Il Maestro di Cappella: compositore e uomo di fede”.
Le proposte inviate di qualsiasi tipo devono presentare un titolo con un abstract di circa 200 parole,
complete del nome del proponente, ente di appartenenza (se presente) e indirizzo mail.
Oltre a ciò, bisognerà allegare un breve curriculum (max 15 righe) e indicare eventuali attrezzature
richieste. La relazione dovrà avere una durata massima di 25 minuti (corrispondenti a un testo di 8
cartelle per un totale di 16.000 caratteri). Non è possibile inviare più di un abstract.

Le accettazioni delle Relazioni, Round tables e Posters sarà comunicata ai singoli studiosi entro martedì 5

The Study Center LR Edizioni (www.lr-edizioni.it) and the Italian Music History Institute
(www.iism.it), under the patronage of the Diocese Anagni-Alatri, the Authority of the Cathedral of
Anagni and the Congregation of the Cistercian Sisters of Charity of Anagni, will take care of the
2013 Edition of the Study Days “Ars Sacra Amor Populi”, Conference of Musical and Historical
Studies. The meetings will take place in Anagni (Frosinone, Lazio Italia), in Bonifacio VIII’s building –
Gregorio IX hall – from the morning of Thursday 21st to the morning of Sunday, March 24th, 2013.
Two days will be dedicated exclusively to musical themes, while in the third part etnomusical and
historical topics will be discussed. The Conference will end up on Sunday 24th, in the morning, with a
Round Table that will anticipate the end of the works.
Anagni is an important historical, medieval town, set south of Rome (60 km), well connected with the
capital by trains and buses, besides the freeway Autostrada del Sole A1 (way out Anagni – Fiuggi).
Call for Papers (Proposals)
The organizers invite those who are interested to produce Report Proposals, Round Tables and Poster
presentations, ones Studies on Sacred Music, the Musical Choirs, their Masters, the Christian Liturgy
and specific Medieval and Modern historical aspects, connected with the ecclesiastic music.
Special sessions will be dedicated to the following themes: ” Sacred Music and Liturgy in the Musical
Choirs” and ” The Choir Master: composer and man of God”.
Any type of proposal must have a title with an abstract of about 200 words, with the name of the
proposer, institutional affiliation (if any) and email address.
Along with the text please send also a short CV (max. 15 lines) and indicate the A/V equipment
required. The paper should not exceed 25 minutes (corresponding to an 8-page text containing to a
maximum of 16000 characters). No more than one abstract may be submitted.
